Weddings at the Fellowship

Wedding_ringsThe Amarillo Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is available for weddings. Please see our facility-use information for details and pricing on reserving the Fellowship. Weddings are normally held on Saturdays, and wedding rehearsals are held the evening prior. Availability is limited and determined by previously scheduled events.

The Fellowship welcomes marriages for all couples of any sexual orientation or gender identity. Love is love.

Securing a minister or officiant for a wedding is the responsibility of the couple. Reserving the Fellowship for a wedding does not also reserve the services of a minister, musicians, or other providers of wedding services.

Our minister is often available to perform weddings on a case-by-case basis and as his or her schedule allows, and  charges a professional fee independent of any fees for the use of the Fellowship facility. The minister is also available to perform weddings at locations other than the Fellowship.

If you wish to secure your own officiant or minister, that person must contact our office at least two weeks prior to the ceremony. All weddings conducted at the Fellowship must reflect and be performed in a manner consistent with our mission and principles. Our minister will contact your officiant or minister. Don’t worry – this is standard protocol for any church.
